Jakub Piotrowski
I’m deeply passionate about reverse engineering, classic car restoration, and American motorsports. My focus has always been on enhancing performance in measurable, motorsport-level ways and keeping classic cars alive with practical, long-lasting solutions.
Through years of hands-on experience with engine rebuilds, performance upgrades, and custom fabrication, I’ve developed a strong skill set driven by curiosity and creativity. I take pride in solving complex mechanical challenges—especially when it leads to real improvements in power, handling, and durability.
My work is fueled by a love for V8 engines, high-performance builds, and the raw, unfiltered experience of classic cars. I’m not interested in modern vehicles overloaded with plastic and unnecessary features; I prefer machines that stay true to their roots. My own spartan Suzuki Samurai, despite lacking a V8, reflects that mindset—simple, rugged, and built for purpose.
I’m always eager to learn and apply new skills when they align with these core values. Whether it’s refining performance, creating custom parts, or helping others keep their classic cars on the road, I’m driven by a passion for machines that are meant to be driven and enjoyed.

Work Experience
2007 - 2010
During summer holidays before graduating, I gained hands-on experience in various workshops through summer internships.

2011 - 2015
Worked at Eaton Automotive Factory, assembling superchargers on the production line. I rotated across different departments and was delegated to quality control whenever possible, gaining exposure to internal efficiency policies like 5S and other corporate training programs.
2015 - 2019
Transitioned to a maritime career, working on ships. My responsibilities spanned both the deck and engine room, with a primary focus on maintaining winches, machinery, and safety equipment. Tasks also included rust removal, watchkeeping, cargo supervision, and assisting with navigation on the bridge. Despite its promotion potential, I decided to leave this career path in 2019.
2015–2019 (Between Contracts)
I worked at RodzFactory and pursued private automotive projects, focusing on engine rebuilds, performance modifications, custom part fabrication, and the restoration of classic American cars from the 1950s to the 1980s. My work placed particular emphasis on fine-tuning and precise adjustments.
To this day, I take great pride in the many fulfilling projects and tasks I’ve been involved in. As shown in the pictures, I successfully completed engine rebuilds and swaps, installed performance aftermarket parts like 4-link suspensions, and fitted custom subframes—such as on the Pro-Touring 1969 Dodge Charger.
I’ve handled tasks requiring watchmaker-level precision, including head porting and carburetor rebuilding. Beyond engine work, I’ve been highly effective in general metal fabrication—designing and building custom engine mounts, brackets, engine test stands, car body dollies, workshop furniture, and much more.
2019–2020
Full-time at RodzFactory. Rebuilt numerous engines, including several Mopar small blocks (318 and 360, including Magnum), two SBC 350s, a Ford 289 small block, and a 5.7 HEMI. While most work was done at RodzFactory, Mopar small blocks were always my personal specialty, and I built some independently for private clients with transparency to avoid conflicts of interest.
From January to September 2020, I independently rebuilt an Magnum engine for a client’s Dodge Ram in my garage. The motor was restored to factory-new appearance with high-quality components. The client installed the engine himself and remains satisfied with its performance to this day.
2021-2022
Relocated due to the COVID-19 situation and worked as a courier.
2022–2023
Worked as a welder, primarily using MIG techniques, while also taking the opportunity to practice TIG welding.
